Art Talk: From Petroglyphs to Anime, How Art Speaks Across Time & Place

Art is how humans speak to each other across the centuries” –  from artist/educator Robert Henri’s The Art Spirit, 1923

If art is a language that speaks across cultures and ages, then what does it mean to be in conversation with a work of art?  How do we decipher this visual language? What should we ask of a work of art, and what does it ask of us? Join our distinguished panelists as we explore how the visual language of artists can speak across generations.
