Why build partnerships?

Our program works best by developing relationships with teachers.

In 2023, we partnered with five public elementary schools from the Edmonds School District. These schools showed the highest rates for free/reduced lunch, which means they have limited resources. In 2025, we added three middle schools. Our goal is to expand into three more elementary schools in the 2026-2027 school year.

What does the School Program Do?

Each year, we donate quality art supplies and a sketchbook for every student. Every teacher in our partnership is invited to attend Teach the Teacher workshops for free. Every Sprig, we host an annual Student Art Show. How do we do that? Learn where the money goes by reading below.

How we use the money:

With the generous support of the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation, the Hazel Miller Foundation, the Tulalip Tribes grant and The Paul Allen Community Accelorator Grant, we are able to offer Teach the Teacher workshops throughout the school year. Teachers from our Partnership schools are invited to attend at no cost. Other teachers, Para professionals, classroom aids, parent volunteers, and non-profit educators can also register for our workshops for only $10.
