Teacher Workshop: Self Portraits

A fresh take on Self Portrait Art Projects

There are so many interesting ways to make a self portrait! Join us on Wednesday, September 16th, to discover engaging, innovative ways to help your students explore identity. We will dive into fresh classroom concepts that shift the focus from perfect technical drawing to powerful personal storytelling. You’ll leave with ready-to-use ideas that work for every skill level. 

No experience is required. Classroom teachers can earn two professional clock hours. This workshop is FREE for all Art Start NW partnership teachers and Para-professionals. Cost for non-partnership teachers, Para-professionals, and volunteers is $10. Everyone is welcome to attend, so bring a friend! All supplies are included. Light refreshments will be provided.
