Class: Everyday Collage

Looking for a fun, low-pressure way to reconnect with your creativity? Collage is an approachable art form needing only paper, glue and scissors – supplies most of us already have. We’ll use a variety of prompts and exercises to spark our imaginations along with some tips for continuing the process at home. The goal isn’t to create masterpieces. It’s simply to show up and make something.

This class is for people who are thinking about ways to build a consistent creative practice, as well as those who just want a night out to play with paper. A fun fact: If you were to spend just 15 minutes making art three times a week you would have 35 hours of creative exploration over the course of a year. Those small moments can help you build confidence, discover your unique artistic voice and make creativity a natural part of everyday life instead of something reserved for special occasions. Research continues to show that making art benefits both our minds and our well-being.

This is an explorational class for all levels – beginners to advanced – everyone is welcome to come and make art with us. All supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own supplies you’d like to experiment with.
