Class: Clip and Sip Collage Party
Unleash your creativity and enjoy a fun evening of collage making while sipping on your favorite beverage. Collage lends itself well to allowing participants to chat and snack while creating. Bring a friend and make it a night out!
This class is self-directed and explorational where students learn from each other and share experiences. Techniques and a project idea will be provided, along with basic collage supplies (papers, glue, scissors). Participants are also encouraged to bring their own supplies and ideas to experiment with. Maybe you always wanted to try a mixed media collage? This is the place to do it – bring your paints, spread out and get messy in our creative space. All levels are welcome to join our community and make art.
We’ll have drinks out for people to sip on while they work. Participants can bring their own snacks & drinks or go next door to Charcoal and grab a drink or a bite to eat to have while working. The doors will open at 5:30pm to allow people to come early and set up their space.
About Lisa & Julie:
Lisa and Julie enjoy teaching together and encouraging others to find their creative voice – be it making art for display or having a creative practice that involves only process and play. Both Lisa and Julie have been art educators for over 30 years. Lisa is the Workshops & Classes Manager and Julie is a pottery Studio Artist at Graphite Arts Center.
