Hot off the press: Landscape painter, instructor, and best-selling author Mitchell Albala will be hosting an author event and book signing of his third book and newest offering: New Lessons in Landscape Painting: Key Concepts and Exercises in Color and Composition

Come meet the author/artist and get your book signed from 3-5pm. At 5pm, Mitchell will hold a presentation of new topics, exercises, and demonstrations from his latest work as well as a more in-depth discussion highlighting the topic of color dominance. We will end with a Q&A on all things landscape painting.

Mitchell Albala Bio:
Mitchell Albala is an award-winning landscape painter, workshop instructor, and author. His semi-abstract and atmospheric landscapes have been exhibited nationally and are represented in corporate and private collections. He is also the author of two of the best-selling books on landscape painting in the nation: “Landscape Painting: Essential Concepts and Techniques for Plein Air and Studio Practice”; and “The Landscape Painter’s Workbook: Essential Studies in Shape, Composition, and Color.
