Class: 17 Ways to Make a Drawing: Through the Eyes of the Masters
What insights can we glean from the masters? And how can we apply their skills in our own work? In this workshop, Ray will introduce you to a variety of techniques by examining the works of four master artists. Students will explore the various methods each artist brings to their craft, then apply these methods through guided exercises. We will work from still lifes, photographs and imagination while learning how line, value and composition can transform the way we draw.
This is an explorational class for all levels – beginners to advanced – everyone is welcome to come and make art with us. No experience is necessary. All supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own supplies you’d like to experiment with.
