Teacher Workshop: Collaborative Projects

Collaborative Projects
January 13, 2027
4:30-6:30pm

Looking for ways to build community and get students working together? Join us on Wednesday, January 13 from 4:30-6:30 to explore the power of shared creativity! In this dynamic workshop, we’ll move beyond basic group work to explore meaningful, structured collaborative art projects. We will talk through partner switch-ups, small group ideas, full-classroom takeovers, and whole-school installations. You’ll leave with fresh project ideas that teach teamwork while keeping every single student actively creating.

No experience is required. Classroom teachers can earn two professional clock hours. This workshop is FREE for all Art Start NW partnership teachers and Para-professionals. Cost for non-partnership teachers, Para-professionals, and volunteers is $10. Everyone is welcome to attend, so bring a friend! All supplies are included. Light refreshments will be provided.

We are excited to work with our 2026-27 partnership schools: Chase Lake Community School, Cedar Valley Elementary, Cedar Way Elementary College Place Elementary, Lynndale Elementary, Martha Lake Elementary, Mountlake Terrace Elementary, Spruce Elementary, Alderwood Middle, College Place Middle, Madrona’s 6-8th, and Meadowdale Middle.

Registration coming soon.
