Seeing Our Planet Opening Reception & Terra Nostra Film Screening
New, juried exhibition group show at The Gallery at Graphite. Whether a reaction, or an interpretation, Seeing Our Planet is a showcase of artwork viewing our planet through the lens of climate change, crisis and sustainability. Graphite is proud to feature the photo series Portraits of a Planet in Crisis by invited artist, Amelia DiGiano. DiGiano’s works “explore the dichotomy of eco-anxiety and environmental complacency through human stories that transpire within stories of environmental degradation.”
As part of the Seeing Our Planet opening reception, Graphite is pleased to welcome Earth Creative artist Jo Nardolillo Chagnard to introduce the screening of the short film Terra Nostra. This powerful, 32-minute symphonic and visual masterpiece explores the impact of human activity on our precious planet.
Please join us for both the gallery reception and for Terra Nostra, and let the artwork, music, cinematic imagery, and community, inspire dialogue and action surrounding climate change. Free to attend. Advance registration is requested to assist us in our planning. See below.
