Graphite on Graphite II

Graphite on Graphite II, the sequel to the popular original exhibit “Graphite on Graphite,” which was on display in spring 2024, is a juried group show featuring 27 northwest artists all using graphite or charcoal as their primary medium.

This striking exhibit highlights the humble medium of graphite as a powerful and popular tool for artists to explore their drawing skills in a variety of ways: technique, texture and tone.  With the versatility of graphite as an artistic medium, the works in Graphite on Graphite II explore many different subject matter, from portraiture and still life to flora and fauna, and more.
